Mini-Fab Fest next weekend in Central Mass? 04/17

I've got a lot to do before June so that I can go to Paragon and I'd like to get started soon. Next weekend I'm looking for volunteers to help me swap in a 1.6 16v in place of my current 1.3. I've got the engine harness, motor mounts, adapter, gastank with fuel pump, etc. I've never done anything like this and need all the help I can get. Also could use an engine hoist. I'm also going to have an 84 Toy pickup to strip, I'm taking the axles and friend wants the doors, bed, and t-case. Anything else (if there is) is up for grabs for free. I'll be providing food and beverages. Send me an email to if you want or can come to help.

Thanks,

Koko

I know how you feel. I'm doing the whole thing alone. Started last weekend and all I have left to do is the fuel pump , vacuum hoses and install the harness. I don't regret doing it alone I'm having a lot of fun and I have a great feeling of accomplishment. Cant wait till it's done !!!

I can't next weekend. Sorry. I had warned you about letting folks know a few weeks ahead.

Frsuki,

I could probably do it myself, I'd just like to have others there who have done it. Basically cause I don't trust myself.

Brent...sorry changed the date to the weekend. I meant the 17th not the 14 th
Keep me in mind guys. I'm sure it won't all be done next weekend, and I still have a bigger project of Yota's and YJ's coming up as well.

Man, I'd love to help out, but that weekend won't work for me. Plus, I have a pile of work to do for Paragon also. Neeed to take a stock sammy from a hacked spring over ( and I mean REALLY butched) and install 1.6l 8 valve, modify harness, tracker 2WD tranny, yotas, YJ's, rear disc conversion, vented front rotor conversion, t-case gears, skid plates, TJ flares....I'm tired already. At least the rims and tires are mounted already. I saw it... you call that hacked? Oh, I thought it was lovely! I especially loved the shock mounting!

Koko... I thought Wednesday was kind-of an odd choice. I wont be able to help on the 17th either unfortunately. I have plans already... Maybe later on down the road though. I am feeling Paragon pressures a little too.

Looks like OTT and the guy I am getting my steering from are going to prevent my new rig from Paragon. It's a good thing though that I have two rigs; just means I have a few things to do to prepare that rig.

No problem guys. I'm going to need more help with the Yotas and YJ's. Anyone have an engine lift I can borrow?
