master cylinder leak

I have brake fluid leaking from where the master cylinder bolts to the brake booster. Is there a seal between the two that can leak or do I just need to go get a remanufactured master cylinder from the parts store ?

Re: master cylinder leak

You may want to remove the booster off the firewall and clean any brake fluid out of it before installing a new master cylinder . That fluid that is trapped inside will destroy the booster's rubber diaphram in a hurry .
