Secondary problem

When i put on my pony carb i could not get the air bowl to seal up very good because of a little pot on the top off the carb.I tryed it out anyway like that and it went great. The other day i modifyed my air bowl so it would seal and now when the secondarys come on at wide open trottle between 3500rpm and up it misses pretty bad.

If i hold it at just 3/4 throttle i can rev it as much as i want and it will not skip.

Changed the air filter and still the same, loosened up th air bowl and it was back to normal.

Any ideas ???????

Re: Secondary problem

Is the air bowl pushing down on the choke pull off or anything like that. I know on both my pony carb swaps the air bowl would hit something, I pretty sure it was the choke pull off. Easy fix is to take a BFH and dent the air bowl were ever it hits. The second one I did I actually modified the choke pull off
