Carbon Dioxide bottle 4 air

OK I got a Carbon Dioxide bottle and I wan't to use it for an air bottle in my AC converted air compressor Can I use the exsisting valve that's on it or is the back side of it a vent or something. If I can use it what kind of threads are on it?

Re: Carbon Dioxide bottle 4 air

You can use it, you just need a Co2 fitting to pipe thread. If that thing on the back
is a pressure relief, you will never need it since Co2 pressure is 10-20X the air
pressure you can get to. Is it steel or alum? steel is pretty heavy, you might be
better off with an old prop tank or a tank off of a Semi's brake system.
