AZ Rockcrawling....YOU\'RE NOT GOING OVER THAT?!

Yeah you rockcrawler guys are nuts. We took the newly yota axled zuke out to see how it'd do, a test run before the AsianAuto gang crashes the Easter Jeep Safari at Moab. Broke the rules too...1 rig, no spare, m inimal tools We did have one of Dave's kicks down where the run started if we needed a way out for parts. This zuke has a YJ SR front, 4 link rear, toy axles, hi steer, exo, 35 MTRs, 6:1s, mix & match motor, Warn 8000, lockers. This is the rear suspension, 4 link/coils, 35 MTRs.

Gratuitous flex shot in the middle of the run. All tires are touching!

This was a 3 foot ledge with rocks before and after just to make it more interesting! It was getting harder now....

Re: AZ Rockcrawling....YOU\'RE NOT GOING OVER THAT?

This spot got the winch cable out. The ledge in front of the driver side was undercut and the tire just couldn't climb it. ....that and the fact that the left side exo was against a rock and the rear diff was sitting on one......

Re: AZ Rockcrawling....YOU\'RE NOT GOING OVER THAT?

Last shot. The exhaust was ripped off and kinked, the short t-case mount broke and you can see the long link mount. Wired the exhaust up, used a ratchet strap to hold the t-case in, winched out the side of the wash and drove it back out to the trailhead.

Don't know much about this but I think his junk works pretty good in the rocks. Dave can explain about the 4 link rear. One neat thing is rather than a limit strap out at the ends they use 1 on the diff to limit droop. This keeps the rear from flopping on the coils. We had it tilted pretty far over and it didn't tip.

One good tip when wheeling in a place like this...DON"T TOUCH ANY PLANTS - they all have spikes!
