OT...Anyone Use The Bone?........

I mean the creepers....

Any feedback on them.... I'm just tired of having my hair tangle in the wheels and get me stuck to the creeper while under the truck....

Doesn't matter how I tie my hair back....It always manages to get free and heads right for the wheels....

Haircut isn't an option.......

Re: OT...Anyone Use The Bone?........

Awesome. There is only on creeper, the bone.

I got one for Bob for xmas a few years back. Runs over air lines like they aren't there. Very comforable, low C.O.G., easy to move around in and easy to clean.

Spend the extra $10-20 for the Big Bone. Everything is a little thicker and larger, and it has larger diameter pneumatic tires. Not only with it not get stock on anything on the shop floor, it rides smoother on concrete AND you can use it on the lawn or dirt driveway! Not bad thing to bring toto an event or something.

Don't hesitate spend the yard to get one. Worth every dollar.

Re: OT...Anyone Use The Bone?........

I've had one for a few years now and for the most part I like it.
There are two things to note however. One is that the BIG ends sometimes make it hard to place yourself where you want to be. The second is that because it rolls so easily, it's hard to tighten BOLTS without ending up at the NEIGHBORS !!!!

If you're tired of them little angled wheels getting stuck or breaking and want something more comfortable to lie on, get one. Lifetime waranty as well....!

One could construe that to meaning I'm fat.

Or that's I'm using air tools, which means I'm lazy.... and fat.

I cut mine after 10 years - ask AkDale - it was quite a change.
I wish I had seen that creeper a few years back when I was a mechanic. Looks good to me - I bet your hair will still find a way in there tho', and if it does, there will be no way for your hands to get to it to untangle - so be careful.

Re: OT...Anyone Use The Bone?........

I tried one out awhile back , yes it does work but I still managed to get the end of my hair in it . Not nearly as bad as the standard 6 wheel units though , but with your length I'd bet it will get you as well . I'd just tuck the end of your hair into a bandanna or something . Nothing like coming up off the floor in a hurry with a 30lb creeper stuck to the back of your skull .....
