New addition to the collection.

AkChris and I have lifted his new zuke (SPOA) stock springs and a hybrid rear with 4.62s lincoln locked. 33x14 Boggers on custom Rims (we cut the center out of the rims, turned em around, drilled new holes for the valve stems, and created a 2" backset). Looks like we may have to open up the wheel wells a bit too. Pickin up steel for bumpers and sliders today.

Re: New addition to the collection.

Dale,

If you were cutting the wheel centers out and moving them anyway, why flip the rim?
The outer bead is a better bead for keeping the tire on. I could understand if you just
moved the stem hole and used the rims backwards.

Re: New addition to the collection.

There was not enough of the inner edge (where the center welds) to move the center enough to get enough back space.
Don't know if I explained well enough.
I just know we had to spin it around to have the back space and still enough room to properly fit the center back in.
Using the rim backwards is not an option with these rims.
The Taper of the (Spokes) would hit the Disks/drums before the center mounting surface would seat.
