2\" receiver winch mount

i was looking to purchase a winch and thought that the receiver mount is the best option. that way it can go between the samurai and maybe use it on the XJ if need be.

so i guess my question is has anyone created there own 2" reciever winch mount, and those that have do you have pics?

thanxs y'all

(i know that double posts suck, but you'll be alright)

Re: 2\" receiver winch mount

I have one.
I can run my winch on the front bumper, the rear bumper, and since I have an extention cord made from Welding lead, can put the winch on any rig that has a 2" rec Hitch.
There are pics in my photo album on my web page. The link is in my profile.

Re: 2\" receiver winch mount

mine is reciever mounted i built it using a piece of 2 inch square tube 3/16 wall and 6 inch channel the channel needed some boring done on it to clear the bolts that mount the winch

I also built an adapter that is a piece of 2 inch square tube with a piece of reciever stock welded to it at a 90 so i can mount the winch pointing to the side insted of forward works well when one end or the other is tring to slide some where you dont want it to go
