What's with the vertical and horizontal shox in front?
Are they attached to a bell crank maybe?

Sucks that porter is letting her go, but I undersand how things go with bills and what not. Very nice rig, and same goes for the tow vehicle and trailer!

I have that diagram around here somewhere of how it works . Spoke with Tim about it a couple years back at the Melt , looks like it worked good....

Re: porters rigs for sale

Not in a hurry, but I'd like to see that diagram.
I am in the process of mounting up my FOX shox so doubt that I would ever get around to some thing like Tims.

Hey Sarge, while I have your attention, Sarge? you there?
Would I gain much, if anything, from a 272 Cam and some early 1324 rocker arms?
If our dollar gets a little stronger I will buy a 272 and am wondering if I should get some remanufactured arms at the same time
TIA.
Alfie.

Re: porters rigs for sale

Not sure how the ratio is going to work out . I'd get a pair of used ones and test them out for clearance with the head off . Make sure things don't go smack , lol . Also, don't ever buy reman arms for a Suzuki , just not a good idea . Unless they are willing to put new bronze bushings in them and regrind the wear pad , then ream the bronze to exact spec dead straight it just isn't worth it . These engines are capable of too many rpm's to be playing with used parts in the valve train . According to a first guess , I'd say the 1324's rockers and a 272 with decent lift may yeild around .400+ lift at the valves ...
