Coil Replacement

I was wondering if it is important to change the ignition coil on the Sammi? Do they degrade that much with time? I have a slight miss on my Zuke and the wires and plugs are relativly new and was wondering if the coil could be the problem. Thanks. Jim

Re: Coil Replacement

Zuk coils appear to have a limited lifetime (they suck). I have 2 in the trash because they missed intermitantly. I replaced with an Accel, PN 8140, that seems to run pretty well. Its a stock style shape so mounting is easy. It's a bit smaller Dia so I wrapped it in thin rubber, which also gives it a bit of shock mounting.
