Hello Everyone, I\'m now officially a member.

I may be called a stranger, but I've read everything posted here for the past 4 months. At least everything related to my Sammy project. I've owned a 1987 Soft Top for about two years. I had to replace the engine, and now run a 1298cc with the original ECM'd carb. The only performance mods are the vent tube in the carb (made a noticable difference), a Bosch super coil, and Bosch plus 4 plugs. The suspension is still stock, but I'm running 235 BFG A/Ts on the stock wheels. I've started some body mods; plastic rocker panels and front bumper are gone, and it has a Best Top Fast Back. I plan on making my Sammy more off-road capable without raising the center of gravity any more than I have to. I use the Sammy to commute. I'll be asking a bunch of questions, and I'm looking foward to getting to know you guys better.

You have no profile. You must not exist. I'm just trying to beat daxe. I'm new too, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. That's cruel. I hope you enjoy it a lot. I enjoy it way too much--it's almost a sickness.

Check this link out... it's called the virtual lift... and is usually pimped out by Zooky. But I beat him to it. It's an easy mod to find on this BBS since he mentions it in every one of my posts. He's sneaky, I think he gets a penny for every mention of this. Here's a penny for you Randy!

Pennys for Randy!

Re: Hello Everyone, I\'m now officially a member.

are you an Adrian Belew fan?

hi there.

dont go SPOA. I have YJs SPUA and it works real good offroad with only 2.5" of lift so the CG is quite low. I'm about to ruin that because frankly I's jealous of all the attention zooky got for rolling his rig and i want to flip over, too. So I am going SPOA and thinking of welding an anvil to the to of my targa bar.

William Hung is god.

...Ding...Ding...Ding...
Points to Daxe for recognizing where my on-line name comes from; an Adrian Belew song called Big Electric Cat. I'm not a fanatic about all his music, but he seems to have nailed down the early heavy metal sound. My real world intials are BEC, and there always seems to be cats running around my house, so I thought, why not?

Re: Hello Everyone, I\'m now officially a member.

I tried to make a profile, maybe it's showing now...keep in mind; Ahm juss a country boy from Cane-zass.

Zow-Whee!!! My first post has a 5 Star rating!!! That's 5 more stars than the post about mass murders on the West Coast...5 more stars than one about the guy who didn't like his Sammy because there aren't any external linkages on the "X-Case"...Ahm gettin' kinda excited!

I'll try to not to boost this post to top again...and I confess, I gave the 5 star rating to myself...too much caffeine...
