OT - FILs new N guage train layout

Hey All,

I know this has zero to do with zuks, but I think it's cool and thought some of you would like to see it.

Father In Law's New Trainset

He has wanted one his whole life and found this one locally on Ebay and jumped on it. It needs a lot of cleaning and has been sitting for a few years. He is thinking of putting it on display in the showroom of his plumbing supply business.

He had it over here yesterday on the way from picking it up. It was strapped into the back of his box truck. I took these pics without good lighting, but they look OK and give you a good idea of the layout. It will be pretty awesome when he gets it dusted off and running.

Enjoy!

That is really awesome. I used to go to the train shows when I was younger and still have my Lionel from when I was a kid. Never lost that "wow thats cool" feeling when I see a nice setup. Jim

Cool set. The only difference between Men and Boys are the price of the toys!

If you guys are into trains there is a REALLY cool place about a hour and a half south of Pargon....in Hamburg,Pa. I think its off of exit 8 or 9 on I-78.

Its called Roadside America. Its a room about 50'x50' i think of nothing but trains. its a diarama trainset of the local area...

Amish Farms, Crystal Cave, All kinda of cool stuff...
