Kick P/S Box Seal.

Has anyone successfully changed the seal on the sector (I think) shaft??
I have one that is leaking and I want to install it but not LEAKING like crazy.

I ordered one thru parts store but it looks too small to fit...I have yet to try it but if someone has the size just in case that would be great as well

Thx guys

Re: Kick P/S Box Seal.

The ones I ordered the first time where the wrong type,
(non automotive Duh...)
I have the size written somewhere. I did a search on here,

"I found the PN on the seal for the tracker steering box and have tired the normal places for crossing the pn, (autozone, etc..) it is A KOR RE030NI anyone? it is a 30mm innner size and a 42mm outer. I am going to call a Motorcycle place I know today that has had good luck crossing things for me in the past and try a bearing place too."

I need to order some for mine and Tomcats, and Daxes.
I will have to see if I can dig up the email with the guys info that I bought the wrong ones from.
He gave me the right PN for automotive apps.

Here it is,
I have a Rubber covered double lip oil seal that presses into a bore. The lip is loaded with a garter spring.
part number size list net

Re: Kick P/S Box Seal.

This looks like a good item for some of the vendors to
carry.Leaking Sidekick steering boxes seem to be pretty
common.
