Body Lift Removal

I was wondering in general of course how hard it is to remove a body lift. i have a 3"inch lift that I want to get rid of. I am not really sure how to remove it and was wondering if anyone here had experience doing it and could offer some pointers.

Thanks

Re: Body Lift Removal

It shouldnt be hard. its just longer bolts and spacers. I'd get new body mount rubber/poly while your
doing it.

Check the fuel tank fill pipe for mods, and the steering shaft between the box and the firewall. with 3" lift
they should have done something there.

You will also need to make sure your tires will still clear. thats the most likely reason it was done to begin.
Maybe just reduce it to 1" if thats a problem?

Re: Body Lift Removal

Yeah I'm thinking about putting in a 1" instead. I'm not really fan of the way a body kit looks but I think a 1" should be fine.
We'll see what happens.
