Going to Mass..weather & place to stay?

As the title says, I am coming up on Saturday to drop off a Heep off in Rhode Island and pickup a Zuk in Mass. I saw the weather and it looks like it is going to be nasty. Please keep me updated on how good or bad it is up there....all I have here is the boring old weather channel and they are not always 100% correct.

I will also need to stop somewhere along the way to stay Sunday night.....anyone?

Thanks in advance to our great Suzuki Community.

Hey Sean

saturday not supposed to be too bad, sunday a chance of snow and rain mix, at least where I am, about 50 miles west.

Here is a great place for weather info. I plugged in Worcester which is a major city right near where Tom lives.

Weather Underground

Have a safe trip. If I had known you were coming out a little sooner I could have planned to drop by and meet you at Tom's. Maybe you can make the trip up for Zookin one of these years!

There's a few hotels (not roach) right in Auburn. The weather won't be bad until Sunday night then all day Monday.

Re: Going to Mass..weather & place to stay?

Not sure exactly where I will be at about 8-10pm on Saturday night, but I would guess that I would be in Massachusettes or Connecticut somewhere. The current plan when I leave Auburn, Mass is to come down I-90 to I-84 to I-91 (where is the construction on I-91?). Anyone in the Massachusettes/Connecticut area want to have a few drinks and dinner on me?
Jim, I will see you for drinks if I can make it that far.

Hey Sean..

Im way over west of where you are going to be, otherwise I'd be jumping up and down to hang out for a while. I just dont want you to think Im antisocial cause Im in Mass and not volunteering.

If we'd known earlier we could have thrown together one of those Hooters "meetings" of NEZUK. That would be great. Maybe next time.

Re: Going to Mass..weather & place to stay?

Thanks Daxe, I will have to get up to one of the NE Zuk events one of these days. I do regret the fact that I have not made it up to one yet, but I at least will definately make GONZOOKIN at Paragon this coming year.

Also, thanks to the people that have offered their assistance from the Zuk community. It shows how close-knit we all really are.

Cool. I have to be somewhere at 6 but if it is earlier it would be great to meet you. Give me a call as you get in the area. Jim

Re: Going to Mass..weather & place to stay?

Sean,

If the weather starts getting too bad on Sunday, I'm about halfway between MA and your house. I'm not too far off the beaten path, I have plenty of room to park the truck and the trailer, and I PROMISE not to put you to work!

I'll be at work all day on Saturday, (so I'll be surfing the BBS), or you can call me at home or on the cell.

Good luck!
