Aux Fuse Boxes.... Anybody Using One??

Hey there....

Just about fed up with the clicky-start thing (apparently inherent with zooks) and have been thinking of mounting the aux fuse box outta the Tracker.
Seems to me to have several advantages:
1) Eliminate clicky-start
2) Quick & easy off-road lamp wiring
3) Fuse accessability
4) Theft deterrant

Anybody using something like this??

TIA

Re: Aux Fuse Boxes.... Anybody Using One??

I just went to a truck graveyard and picked up a buss strip with 8 breakers in it . These circuit breakers are designed for heavy service , can be had in 1-80 amp range , and reset automatically . Nice part is , if the burn out you can replace them for about $5 at almost any truck stop . Mounted mine next to the driver's fender and used a #4 battery cable to feed it . All the accessories I've added including the ignition run off this strip , nice and simple .

Not yet, but I have a Painless fuse box waiting to go in mine. Just need to map everything out and then fab up a mounting board for the fuse and all the relays.......
