Billybob (the californy one not the tenisee one)

billybob,

I saw this picture on Taz's post but did not want to hijack his post. how much lift is on this truck and what size wheels? Reason that i ask is because I am trying to convey to the wife what mine will look like once I get it lifted and new Rockcrawler wheels. The color scheme is the same on mine and yours.

Thanks

Hey there Mygreenihc....

What you're looking at is the RRO 5.5" SPOA lift with 31x10.5x15 tires on 15x7 2.75" backspaced ford wheels. My rig is sitting on a set of 2.5" lift blocks. That, with the SPOA equals around 6". RIght now I'm seriously looking into the jeep spring coversion... reason is, that the OE springs are already wrapped... I'm hoping that the wider/longer/stronger springs will get me the same amount of lift without having the wrap effect. IF you're going for the SPOA please do yourself aa favor and research the YJ spring thingie... I'm convinced (at this point) that the larger/stronger springs will last longer while giving the same amount of lift and ride comfort.

Hope this helps...

What Billy Bob said... Our stock springs negative arched some and wrapped in the back after our spring-over.

WB

Got two sets of yj springs in the backyard... Not on yet though because my wife keeps saying the "B" word. "Budget." I hate that word.
