Re: OT - Iraq

I've got friends, family, and co-workers over there right now. I'll pray for them all.

Re: OT - Iraq

That sucks man....prayers go out to all who are serving in harms way.....our unit just sent out a handfull of aircraft, with 2 more leaving this week...watched a bunch of good kids get on board, some good friends...it's funny, but as they were starting engines and getting ready to taxi all I could think of was wanting to get on board with them....

Sorry to hear that BBJ. 19 is just too young. Still trying to sort life out let alone losing it.

Re: OT - Iraq

I am very sorry to hear that - it's happening way too often. I'm currently home from that region for 2 weeks of R & R - I pray for all of us and our families every night. I think most of the time, our families have it worse than we do. We appreciate all the support more than you could ever know.

Re: OT - Iraq

To those who have given their all we thank.

For they have carried the torch of freedom to a far away land.

Those of us who have worn the Uniform past, present we hear the Bugle and strain against our harness to ansewer it and fight for that is what we are trained to do.

While I am broken in body and cannot go I wish all who can/do the best and godspeed.

To those left behind I can only offer my condolences.

My only son is joining the Army National Guard soon and
While I am proud of him I am also terrified as a father.

Dear Lord please protect these young troops that they may come home soon after accomplishing thier mission.
may their sight be true along with their hearts.
and may you give them the wisdom to see this important mission through to the end so their sacrifice will not be in vain for if we leave early thats what it will be.
