Re: Toy Power Steering Hose too short

It seems like the threads are 16mm. I ended up going to Autozone and looking through their book. I ordered a universal hose. I got the longest one possible. If you already have the ends you could get one made up. I think mine was around $16. JCC

Re: Toy Power Steering Hose too short

I have the pump located above the a/c ( air compressor). 6 more inches will work but I want extra for movement.

Re: Toy Power Steering Hose too short

Great Day
junk yard hopping and I found it a 23" power steering extention. The 1989 toyota cressida has it. I paid $12 bones for it, which is alot better than $30-60 for a manufactured one. I can now run the hose where I want it.

Re: Toy Power Steering Hose too short

I got tired of looking through the book to guess which hose to use. I had know idea what ends would work. The metal part of the lines are always twisted and turned in differant direction. The long hose I got runs from the steering box through the jack mount to the pump. I had it ran another way but it was too close to exhaust and over heated my fluid. JCC
