Planning for Moab - need to shack up...

Okay, if you are not planning on going to the Moab EJS in 2004, you can pass this up.

I got ground clearance to take my boy (7) back out to Moab, barring any problems with me making money (own my own biz)

Looking to share a condo or hotel, or someone with a place there that would be up for some good company.

TIA,

Moab

Susun and I have always wanted to go. We've been to Moab a lot as river runners (dating back to 1981!) but never for a Zuki event. We are out-of-synch with the dates of the event. Please post this info and let us give it a think. We'd be good company.

J&S

PS#1--we first joined and used this list in 1999 but took a haitus and somehow our ID wasn't recognized so we had to rejoin. This board ROCKS!

PS#2--When people in The State of Utah think of the words, "escort service," they think of people who escort wide loads (aka-mobile homes & construction equipment) from Point A to Point B. We haven't checked the Salt Lake City yellow pages in awhile, but we'd hazard a guess that "escort services" up there would be people who take you on a guided tour of The Temple. The nearest escort service(s) in the terms you are thinking about would probably be either Vegas or Denver. And Moab is a LOOONG way for either. (We ain't LDS but we respect 'em a LOT!)

Re: Moab

Hey Yankee,
Have checked out Slickrock campground or the Moab KOA? They have cabins at both. I was in Slickrock in October and they had one room cabins that looked clean and warmer the my tent site

Stayed in one for 2 weeks in 2002, with my son AND my dad. No offense to Slickrock, but I'd rather sleep in a cave or the back of my truck.

Re: Moab

I had a funny feeling you wouldn't let me take the easy way out.

Okay, one "carnage" run. Lower Hell, if it's do-able. I got a score to settle, and a rock to piss on.
