t case quesiton help needed

I've removed the front part of my t-case to replace it with a non-broken part and wound up with and extra little ball.

The shell section for the flange that bolts to the front drive shaft.

When I took the old shell off a small bearing (ball) fell out. I know it goes in with the shifter forks but where?

I've done a search and everyone is talking about the 2wd low mod balls not this one. I haven't opened up the main case just the front small piece.

Where does this little ball go? In front of one of the forks?

hmmmm.... could be. are you talking about the wires that screw into the casing?

Does a small round bearing go under there?
