The ultimate Vitara is for sale!

The ultimate Vitara!

Please, please. Someone buy this! It's killing me that I can't buy this right now (like my GV isn't almost on par).

Talk about not having to do anything. And only 8K on it, with a brand new v6 in it.

Re: The ultimate Vitara is for sale!

I would LOVE to own that thing -- for about $12,000. I could even see $15,000 .... but $18,500? I realize it's one-of-a-kind and all, and a very special vehicle, fully built, but still. I guess how outrageous the price is depends on how much you make !!

$15,000. Really? They might bite, but, a new 2-dr, stripped, is $14,000. This was a loaded 2-dr, with gobs of aftermarket goodies, not to mention the only 2.5L V6 2-dr Vit on the planet.

I wish I could sell mine and buy that.

Yankee:

I guess you're right, but remember, it's only worth what someone will pay for it. Maybe I'm just cheap (everyone says I am) and it is built, but there's no resale value. If I tried to sell that locally, nobody would appreciate the unique value of it. It's like the new Rubicons -- most of the people who have the money to afford them don't know what a locker is. A buddy bought his "new" '03 Rubicon for 2/3rds what the original owner paid for it and he doesn't think the previous owner ever engaged four wheel drive let alone the lockers. You should see him drive it off-pavement -- like a little old lady. It goes like heck, though, but there's so much money it, he doesn't want to hurt it -- and I don't blame him. It's a beautiful vehicle. I could see $15,000 for the Vitara and I'd wheel it, but it would have a lot more value to me than to anyone else I know. How much do you want to sell yours for? Do you want to sell it? I'm not too far from you -- about five hours, I'd guess.

Re: The ultimate Vitara is for sale!

LOL! I still owe 9K on mine. Some buy new trucks (like a Rubi) drive like a pussah off-road. Some don't. I didn't, and it shows. My 17.5 gal tank barely hold 14 gallons now.

I met a gut at PAP with a brand new Rubi. Built well with lots of stuff. He was wheeling it like he stole it. Several near rolls.

I'll tell you what, nothing brings the pucker factor up than wheeling an expensive rig, especially if it's not paid off yet.
