a broken Warn winch M5000 \"need help\"

Hi everyone.

i got a warn M5000 laying around without a elektric motor.
and the orginal spare parts i think are to expensiv.
does anyone know another elektric motor or other kind of motor that fits or may be built in. I have access to CnC maskins.
i was thinking of taking a startmotor from a diesel but it wont last so long.
so do you know another way then please tell me.
has anyone built in a hydralik motor or something???

by tha way another question where is rocky-roads store located in USA i dont seems to find it on there website.

That's what a winch motor is, it's a starter motor. That's why your supose to stop every once in a while to cool it off.

M5000 motor is made by Bosch.

You might try Ebay. There are always winch motors on there starting around 20 USD. Most of us in US are looking for at least a 6K, so you shouldn't get a lot of competition.

but how do i know with motor i'm looking for. i don't know the replaces part number of the motor.

anyway then it should work to take a startmotor. i think i'm gona try that first.
