Anyone have any spare lower shock mounts?

I finished my SPOA only to realize that due to my longer shocks bought for my S/R my shocks are too long (reused stock U-bolt plates), the weight of the truck basically sits right on them. I took the shocks off and I see no real easy way to make any kind of shock mount and I was wondering if someone had some laying around unused that they might donate. Some lower weld on's maybe? If not I guess I'll suffer long enough til I get some money to get some from RRO or something, but this is my daily driver. I'm also having trouble getting the brakes bled out.

I am basically broke because of all the money I just spent on wheels and tires and for someone to weld my Breeze perches on + the Breeze Perches.

BLAH HELP! I have a club run coming up this week and I guess I'm not going to make it.

Also I worked on this thing at my Mom's house cause I don't have a garage, is it safe to drive home (roughly 5 miles) with no shocks on the front?

THANKS!

Re: Anyone have any spare upper/lower shock mounts?

5 miles is nothing compared to the distances I have driven without shocks, I would just take it easy and I dont see any problem with driving it that distance with no front shocks...

Yup, I drove for 3 years without front shocks .. I loved being able to hop the front end up and down and lift the front tires then look at look on peoples faces, in 10mph bumper to bumper traffic

Oh, do a search for ford shock towers .. they're like $12-15 each and available at your local ford dealer. The number starts out ETZ- something I think, you can weld or bolt them on after cutting off your old ones, you'll also need new shocks then

The Ford part # is E5TZ*18183*A and here in Oklahoma run $11.80. You'll have to buy new shocks because the top mounting is different, but better. You can buy some $10 Red Ryder shocks. Oh, Doug I love your new signature.

Thought of getting some long bolts and welding them to the appropriate place?
I realise that your spring plates are now on the top. But it's just a thought.
I aint SpOA so may be off line.
