Suzuki A/C

I have several sammys and I tooks the A/C out od one of the parts cars and put it in my special edition. There was a wire that went to the back of the instrument panel. Anyone have an idea what this is? Is it a high temperature shotoff? It hooks up near the back of the temp guage. it works with out it, but would like to know the reason for this.

Re: Suzuki A/C

on my 86 when the ac is on, the temp control does just that, controls the temp. I can move it to a hotter setting and the ac compressor will shut off.
