steering box

I have a 1.6l in my sami, and have the pump and the steering box is a commin. My questions are, how and where do you mount the box? How do you connect the steering shaft to the steering box? And what do you do about the pitman arm?

Thanks for the help,

Re: steering box

The easy way is to get a conversion kit from Calmini, trail tough, etc. It gives an adapter for the steering gear mount as a track/kick isn't the same as the sammy. Also gives a u-joint in most cases that replaces the rag joint on the steering shaft. Is the mounting bracket coming with the pump? also, you'll need to find a way to get a second belt on the crank pulley if it isn't a two groove pulley already. Check some of the vendor's kits and you'll see what I mean more clearly.
