DT 8000\'s Bump Stop ???.......

Should I secure them to the top portion (use an adhesive) or should I just let them slide up and down? I'm guessing that I should glue them...... Any ideas????

Crow, I run my shocks upside down (design flaw in the coil kit) and they never slide up and down the shock. Just flip em over

Mine are not secured. I can't image why it would matter. They are definantly going to be at the top when they are needed.

Re: DT 8000\'s Bump Stop ???.......

I was thinking more in the line of when debris is on the shaft and the bump stop was able to slide freely, the outside possibility exists of the shaft being scored....

Crow
I'm using mine as the only source of bump stop in the front of my rig. I have had them on since Dec 02 and they are starting to look like crap.. With my YJ's in front I can get wicked uptravel and I guess I use it all up. I'll be adding real bump stops soon as I would hate for the shock to get destroyed when the stop falls off.....
