Sky Mfg. axle truss install

Axle truss finally came in the mail the other day. They only make them for the front, but with a little work they'll fit the rear. Here's a few pics of the install.

This is Chris's samurai. '88 1.3L w/ weber & header. RUF, rears in rear w/ revolver shackles. welded rear, open front. 4 to 1 t-case, 33" firestone destination MTs.

He bent the rear housing 'cuz he broke a rear axle & drove it all the way home. He has a Spidertrax anti-wrap bar on it & every time he changed gears it would pull the samurai to the right.

Re: Sky Mfg. axle truss install

Just for the hell of it, I figured I'd throw in a picture of our "junkyard" dog. His name is Buster Brown, baddest basset hound around.

Re: Sky Mfg. axle truss install

Sorry to hear that you're selling monzuki, Jim. I wish you the best.

If you get bored though, go ahead & do a little cutting & grinding & put your truss on. Maybe a little tinkering will ease the mind??
