Roll bar padding

I need some padding for the connector bars on my cage. I looked at Jegs and they offer a few different types but don't really mention what size tubing it fits. Also, one is $10 for 3' and the other is $4 for 3'. Looking for some opinions and experiences. Thanks.

Re: Roll bar padding

Go to Noland or Ferguson and get foam pipe insulation for the od of your bar . They have large sizes for commercial applications in stock and it is pre split with a tape to stick it together . Then all you have to do is tape it up .

Re: Roll bar padding

The Armorflex found in plumbing supply houses works quite well and is pretty cheap. The padding found at Jeg's or similar places usually is "offset" which works well when clearance is an issue....
