Carb vent tube... is it really worth it?

I just ordered one from Petroworks, read up a bit on the search but was wondering if it really makes a significant difference?

Re: Carb vent tube... is it really worth it?

When we bought our Zuke in 87 I noticed a significant stumble when the secondary opened. I had the tube put in and it completly solved the problem. So if you feel the hesitation count on an imprvement. Jim

Re: Carb vent tube... is it really worth it?

Its pretty hard to find anything that costs only $12 and ISN'T worth it.

It cured a total flat spot I had when I got my zuk. In a way, it is responsible for WHY I got my zuk. The guy I got it ffrom said he didn't like the truk because it was no good on the highway..it wouldnt go over 50 mph unless you held your foot to the floor for 5 minutes. I asked in here, heard about the vent tube and got one. I tapped it in and VOILA! no more brick wall at 50 mph.

Of course if you don't have the problem that it fixes, it is pretty pointless.
