Clutch fragmented...

This is not good. The $250.00 Centerforce 2 clutch fragmented and took out the pilot bearing, throwout bearing and flywheel. The damn clutch only had about 8000 miles on it... chit chit chit

Re: Clutch fragmented...

Not just the friction pads... There are some strips of metal all over the place that I'm not sure of origin. It looks as if something actually peeled strips of the flywheel off.

Re: Clutch fragmented...

Think you can get it warrantied ? 8000 miles is not much for a clutch to frag . Maybe Centerforce would cover it ?

Re: Clutch fragmented...

Centerforce sucks. They don't warranty anything. And, it's not so much the clutch I care about as I got the clutch (brand new) on a rade from one of the vendors for some parts I had. It's the destroyed bearings and flywheel that really piss me off.
