Re: Could someone run a vin check please?

I already got my Sammy but I still have some time left on my unlimited AutoCheck so here you go.

TitleCheck: No records found
ProblemCheck: No records found
OdometerCheck: No records found
Vehicle Information: No records found
Full History Records found

Can't find any Odometer reading, I guess they don't have emissions or require odometer reading at Colorado Springs.

Everything else looks good though (no lien or salvage title).

Re: Could someone run a vin check please?

It depends if the state's DMV requires that mileage be reported.

I got mileage reported for my Sammy through Autocheck, but it's in CA where we have one of the toughest emission in the nation.

I think both CarFax and Autocheck use similar sources to find their information. Since Autocheck is by Experian (the same people who does credit reports), I figure they would be decent. Also their unlimited reports last for two months instead of one month with CarFax.

Re: Could someone run a vin check please?

That one is strange. on Autocheck has 0 records but on CarFax there is like 7 records.

I guess CarFax is a bit better with info.

However with both services, I would not be able to find who is the registered owner.

From their FAQ:
AutoCheck does not provide the names of or information pertaining to a vehicle's previous owner(s). The federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) prohibits the release of such information for non-permitted uses.
