got some questions need some answers
First off I have the entire 302 with tranny bolted in and waitting to be finished and custom driveshaft, I have a few questions and concerns. First off the crank pulley decided to fall right on the tubular bar that connects in between the frame, the bar that the stabilizer bar mounts to, I already built a custom 2x4 bumper that extends out 6 inches and has a 2x4 front section welded to it so since I have to cut the center section of the stabilizer bar mount out should I rely on the 2x4 bumper to sturdy the frame? I figure Imma build a small K frame design off of it anyways that will join at the front bumper.
I also need to know how far back I can move the transfer case before I need to shorten the rear driveshaft?
Also for those who know of the hydraulic shift forks in the ZF transmissions, I have the slave cylinder/hydraulic piece for the fork which is intended to be driven by the clutch pedal, however, I was wondering if the shaft that controls the hydraulic is pulled out, or pushed in to activate?
