Re: O/T Photoshop Software?

photoshop is the best. You can find a ripped copy on a file sharing service easily if you wanna go that route.

If you don't, then I can suggest Paint Shop Pro. Its a photoshop clone of sorts. You can get it at JASC . Its not free, either but its cheaper than Photoshop and does most of the same stuff just as well.

A legit free option is the gimp . It's pretty clunky compared to the previous two, but it does work pretty well once you get used to it.

You might visit TUCOWS and see what they have around. You will have to select your operating system and the type of program you want and a downlaodd mirror, but they have lots of stuff.

Hope this helps.

Re: O/T Photoshop Software?

PHOTOSHOP is the brand name of photo manipulation software.

Ver. 7 is the latest and best, there's simpler versions for home use/messing around. I use Ver.6 daily at work, you could make a career out of learning all you can do with Photoshop, it's not exactly easy or fast to learn.

As far as the cost, ya want the best ya gotta pay

Don't get me started on stealing software..

Re: O/T Photoshop Software?

There also is Adobe Photoshop Elements which is like a Photoshop Lite (really light - lol)

For basic photo editing it isn't so bad.....HTH

Re: O/T Photoshop Software?

I use 2 programs actually. Photoshop (don't know what version as it came with the computer) and then I have a program that came with my computer which is just a "picture publisher" program. Between bouncing back and forth between the 2 I can get good results.
