1.6 Swap snag......

I'm swaping over the stuff onto my 1.6 a realize I CAN"T just put my double pulley on th cranck of the 1.6!!!

I have my GM alt AND stock AC compressor that are both V-belts

What the heck do I do???

I know you can stick a serpentine pulley on the alternator, but I haven't dealt with the a/c. Mine is still sitting in a box after two years.

change the alt pully

also i have heard of people putting the water pump pully on the crank pully

The bolt pattern on the 1.6 crank (five) is not the same as the one on a 1.3 crank (four).

I had the end of my crank redrilled so that I could keep the 1.3 belt and use my 1.3 AC compressor and alternator.

If you are in a hurry, I'd go with the 1.6 belt-driven accessories.

I wish I had...

I ended up redrilling the pulleys that are on the crank. took 10 minutes!

Now I'm trying to make the compressor bracket fit on the 1.6...
