P.S. Crowhorse, you would appreciate this place. You are welcome to visit any time, I recommend just a bit earlier in the year, when the Silvers are still runnin'
If it was nice like our summers all the time, we'd be overrun!
The winters are long, but here in the South Central portion of Alaska, the temps aren't too bad. Very often not below -40, often to -20 for spells, but last year it was very mild, I don't remember it below -10 at all. And not enough snow to really test the tracks! I didn't have more than a foot on the ground at any one time.
being here in ks we don't get enough snow to have tracks but I was just thinking....do you have power stearing? as I reckon they might make it a bit hard to turn. Also are they a contraption of yours? Or can you just buy them and bolt em up like tires? if so Just woundering how much they were. sorry i'm a little ignorant on tracks but thats what i get for being out here in the middle of no where.
Yeah, it was Maine, ebay. I tried to post last night, the BBS told me in was on an "unapproved server" or something like that. I just set up anouther router, this one wireless, maybe I have too many firewalls.
Search to POR for pagesand pages I posted on Mattracks and home built tracks.
"do a search" - that is so POR
I have finally put the links to the threads in my "favorites", so now it is easy to put them up when people ask the "tracks" questions, and I don't have to type the whole story about them over and over.
