215 75R15 X 235 75R 15 what diff

how much difference (taller) is the 215 than a 235, I am wondering how much I can clear under my stockish Sammy. I plan to do some suspension lift. Thanks

Try this one, it gives you overlays(end and side views) of the 2 different tire sizes with measurements, %difference(faster or slower), and speed difference.

here's an easy answer:

you can pretty much fit 235/75-15s under a stockish sami if you lift it 2", trim the bumper ends and pound your wheelwell seams down.

Daxe is right with the bumper,Ive got 235s with a 2" shackle lift( which only gives you about 3/4 in lift actually)and everything fits well.I figure 235s are as big as you can go and still keep stock gearing

A 235/75 is a 29 inch tire. A 215/75 is a 27.7 inch tire.

I took my stone stock zuke trail riding with 235s, had it twisted til the wheels lifted off and no rubs, they tucked right in on the stock wheels. I could turn to the stops on the street with no rubs as well. I didn't try full lock/full twist while in the woods though..
