I hate Samurais

I hate everything about them! They SUCK!!

I can't get these friggin' front brakes to work. I've replaced the calipers, pads, hoses, proportioning valve AND the master cylinder and they're still hanging up!

Re: I hate Samurais

I didn't even see the last part that you wrote. I was wondering why people were talking about brakes.

Don't I feel dumb now.

Re: I hate Samurais

Are the rotors warped or the caliper mounts cracked?

Re: I hate Samurais

Nope and nope. Rotors and caliper mounts are fine. I guess I'll tear everything down again tomorrow and begin again.

Re: I hate Samurais

capn are the calipers new. if not the piston could be in crooked. if they are new check the sliders that they mount to there could be rust preventing them from sliding back and forth.

Re: I hate Samurais

Everything works fine til I hit the brakes. The calipers move in and out freely and slip on relatively easy. I can get over the rotors easily, put the tire on and it will spin like it shoud. Then once I hit the brakes they won't release. It seems to be more the passenger side now than the driver's side.

Re: I hate Samurais

Do you have those funky spring clips installed between the bracket & the caliper? Are the slider rubbers o.k.? Are the caliper bolts clean? Just some thoughts.
