looking for sammy parts and wow nice site you have

Hello from Bismarck North Dakota, I just bought my first Sammy and well I need some parts for my black beauty, answers and prayers..First the parts. I need a hood, front left fender, grill, left taillight lens, front bumper with end caps( mine is chrome. Next questions. I would like to replace the stock white wheels with something chrome without killing my budget. What models of trucks jeeps etc. fit the sammy. I want it stock size as no lift kit (yet) Also my sammy has a set of chrome panels running from front to back on side and on the door posts with Susuki emblem in them. Mine are twisted. Where do I go for another set? Ok, now to the prayers...My first Sammy and doing the work myself so hope I can put this sake sipping sammy together. On the body parts will take any color but would prefer black so I could just bolt your parts on my sammy. Last but not least, this is a great site. Thanks for all who put this together. If you have any of these parts or answers. please email me at [email protected]

Contact the folks at Trail Tough. They sell new and used sami parts. I just purchased a nice rust free fender and a used fuel tank that was like brand new for my zuki. Cost for both parts was under $100 not including shipping.
Another place to look is
Izook Classifieds
always people selling parts there.

As far as the wheels go - Samurai's have a 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern. Wheels off of Jeep CJ's, F--150's, Scouts, Dodge 1/2 ton trucks will fit.

Welcome abord.

If you have all that chrome glitz your Sami is probably an SE or Special Edition. It came about as loaded
as these things ever came.

The problem will be that very few SE's were made, so the chrome will be difficult unless you find someone
who hates it and de-chromed theirs for the trail of personal tastes.

Good luck!

I know of a Samurai in a junk yard in Wahpeton, ND. It had a fire but the sheet metal should be good and It has a Calmini header, alloy wheels and Smitty Built tow bar.

When looking for wheels ,make sure the center hole of the wheel will fit over the locking hubs ,Just because its a 5 on 5 1/2 wheel doesn't mean it will fit.
