Not enough newbies on the POR lately?

Do search, if you can, 'cause the how-to's don't tell all the tale sometimes.
For instance, I have seen a how-to with black ABS plastic (Sewer Pipe) that used a 1 and 1/2 pipe, but on the occasional snorkel thread I have seen users post that 1 and 1/2 is too retrictive.
Me, I went straight to 3 inch pipe, really looks terrible hehe.
But my diesel uses a LOT of air on boost. Works good. I used a silicone adapter for roof vents to seal the pipe to the air box. I also have a HUGE air box from an early 99 Ford Powerstroke, so I needed some serious adapting to get the 3" round pipe to match the 3 and 1/2 by 8 -9 oval intake.

Eh, I have a pic somewhere, I will post it.
But basicly, go to Home Depot, buy some pipe, and cut a hole in your fender!

EDIT: found it

Its (the Tee) probably a place for rain water to collect and be drained from.

Re: Any snorkel posts or HOW TO webpages?

there is a good write up in the zuk tech page on this site.
Note I relocated my air box on my roof this makes for more room under the hood and keeps waterout as well.

You are correct....the "t" is there to collect any water that gets in. I can run with the cap off if I'm driving a long distance in the rain.
