Re: Almost Complete !!!

#3.......I modified the rear gate to fold down and it didn't cost nothing. Just what welding wire & cutting disc I used. The enclosure you see is a rear door from a tin-top. I will be weathering this in and modifying it some more. My next step is the rear platform.

Re: Almost Complete !!!

Hey Jim,

Thanks buddy fer fixin the pics for me. As for the hinges.......I used the 2 that were on the end of the tailgate. One side was longer than the other so all I did was cut one end down to match the other. At that point I layed the tailgate in the open position [note] it is good to have 2 extra people here to hold the gate for measurments. Then I layed the hinges where I wanted them to go and marked for cutting. The way I have done my set-up.....I had to cut away the inside/bottom on the gate and also cut the area below the gate as if it were closed. This was boxed in afterwards to give it a kind of clean look. After all of the cutting/notching was done I welded everything into place and the rest is history my friend. I hope this helps ya out. There are a few more things I am wanting to do, but they might get put on hold because hunting season is right around the corner.
