MAN! Bearings are expensive!!!

I just called the GM dealer for some front input/output bearings and seals for my NP241 t-case and here's what they quoted me in CAD:
Front input bearing: $99.75
Front input seal: $31.45
Front output bearing: $57.60
Front output seal: $26.05

WOW!!! And don't even ask what I was quoted for a new chain!

But, after calling NAPA I was relieved. Both bearings are $77 total and both seals are $15 total. So about $100 total. Not bad. Lets hope they're good....

Seriously, if you look in the phone book under bearings, and use the part No's published here many
times (search) You can save substantiialy. Just don't expect them to have the automotive applications
reference a shop like NAPA has.
