then again..you sometimes see people saying something is "for sell"
my personal fave is folks who write "loose" when they mean "lose." Loose is the opposite of tight. You might lose something because it's loose, but it's not the same word.
and here's another fave: "bumber" It's not a typo, the b and p keys are nowhere near one another.
and a few more popular ones: stearing and breaks
Of course there's the opposite of loud, which is NOT "quite"
Mating axle parts from more than one vehicle doesn't create a "hybred" axle, there's no such word. The word is hybrid.
I could go on forever, but I guess I will stop with ranting about people who insist on putting apostrophes in plurals.
