Re: Sammi Water Pump Replacement

Possibly the timing belt and related timing components that may be worn.

Re: Sammi Water Pump Replacement

a common project. check for a leak at the oil pump to block gasket. the pump is mounted vertically on the front of the engine, and the gasket to the block fails. lots of labour to get at it, and now is the time to do it if your's is bad. then, the crank seal, cam seal, and timing belt. possibly the tim belt tensioner, but i don't think they fail commonly. nice little project.

I would recommend replacing all your coolant hoses at the same time your system is empty. Thats what I did.
