Owners Manual 1988 Samurai

Can anybody give me any leads on obtaining an Owners manual, I just got the truck and would like to learn more about it.
Also are there any really good service manuals for this thing other than the normally lacking Hayne's ones?

Re: Owners Manual 1988 Samurai

Best one is the FActory Service Manual (FSM). Forget the Haynes garbage. I bought mine from the dealer and well worth it. I'm going to be selling mine b/c I'm building a 4.3L, etc. and won't need it anymore. It is for an 1988 so it'll be what you need. If you're interested, e-mail me.

Cheers,
Steve

Hi Steve,
thanks for the info on the manual.
If I'm correct you are in Toronto?
How much are you asking for the manual?

Actually, I'm outside of TO but it's easier for everyone to get an idea of where I am when they hear TO. Not sure what to ask for the manual? Have you looked at the dealers and seen what they are asking? Do that, then e-mail me with an offer.

Cheers,
Steve

Re: Owners Manual 1988 Samurai

I know there are several vendors in the States that can help you, don't know how pricey it would be with the exchange rate though.

They list the Samurai Factory Service Manual on their OEM (New) page for US $89.00
