Can bolt cutters cut through the Club steering wheel lock?

Hello, I do not have the Club steering wheel lock. I was sort of tricked into buying a brake lock. It reseambles the Club steering wheel lock but it locks up the brakes. I know if you have the Club steering wheel lock, thieves could just cut through the plastic steering wheel. But what about the steel in the Club. Can thieves cut through that with bolt cutters? Thank you for your reply

Re: Can bolt cutters cut through the Club steering wheel lock?

Hey, I work at a Fire Dept. and it would take some big a$$ bolt cutters to cut the metal in the "CLUB". We've taken our Hydrualic cutters to the "CLUB" and it cut right thru it with no problem. I don't think thieves would haul around Hydrualic tools just to get into a Sami? But, you never know!!!

It is a whole lot easier to just cut a section out of the steering wheel.....I f someone wants your vehicle, a club won't even slow them down for more than a minute.

Truth is, if a thief wants your car bad enough, No type of theft deterent will stand in their way. They will find a way to disable it or get around it. Lucky for us, I don't think a Samurai is very high on the list of most stolen vehicles. It doesn't do much good to lock the doors when all you need is a sharp knife to get in one!
