Got new rear springs.

Been running with overload leaf removed for a while now, great flex but torque kills the spring, have fitted five second hand replacements.
Just had a new pair.
Any one had springs with such a large overload leaf ?

In the picture are the new spring at top.

The old spring at middle.

The old removed overload leaf at bottom.

Re: Got new rear springs.

The overload leaf is about 1/2 inch thick, it donít bend!!!
The original overload spring was about 1/4 inch.

This leaf is really limiting my compression so I was wondering if I could cut of most of the forward half allowing the front half to compress well, whilst the remaining rear would prevent the axle winding up the leaf pack.

Want my flex back but need to control axle wind up.

What do you think guys ?
