Re: Weber Carb vs IM240 Emmissions
I had a major headache last Oct. getting my 87 Sami JX with Weber to pass Washington Emissions. After spending $140 on attempts to rejet and multiple failed tests later, several people on the 4x4play.com mail list suggested I try a fellow who hangs out by one of the Seattle emissions stations. He charges $35, but only if you pass. Believe it or not, he got my Weber to pass emissions with only an adjustment of the air idle adjustment. IMO, rejetting is not necessary, at least in Washington State. Of course, the truck ran like s*** after the adjustment, and I had to tweak the carb back into running order.
Congratulationson passing emissions.
