Rocky Road delivered!

As some of you know from my post last week I ordered a safari snorkel for the Tracker. I paid for 2 day air (the long weekend fubar-ed delivery) But it was supposed to show up today and it Did! So I guess I am a success story.
Thanks Rocky Road for the straight sohooting on it being in stock and actally delivering on time. This helps make up for the bad time I had 3 years ago with you.

Re: Rocky Road delivered!

Well that and the diff guards are tonight! the new 200lb springs will hopfully show tomorrow. Nothing like right to the wire. (almost like Yankee Tim!) the springs are just fine tuning since I won't be loading the truck up (TomKat is driveing down with me in his cheroke) It isn't so much of an issue. But would be nice. Re: Rocky Road delivered!

I ordered a pair of rear OME springs and and Over The Top Steering system on April 30th.
Michael said they were on the shelf, and I told him that I had heard that before. He went and checked, and said they had one pair of springs and would ship them out the next day, and would have to make the OTT. I asked, “How long?”
He said it will ship out in one week and be at your door within two weeks.

I ordered the parts and the next day RRO sent the tracking number for the springs.
After one week my OME springs arrived, right on time.

I called after the first week to check the status and he said the OTT will ship tomorrow.
The next day I received an e-mail with tracking number for the OTT. Seven days later they arrived.

When I ordered I talked to Michael, I also explained to him what happened last year and that I want an honest ETA, verses being told two-weeks for over two months. He lived up to everything he promised. Both parts right on time.

Hopefully this is a sign that RRO is turning things around.

Thanks Michael for being honest and getting my order to me on time.
Customer service is as important a quality product.

"Hopefully this is a sign that RRO is turning things around."

Hopefully. Time will be the telling factor. Blind squirels find nuts. Stopped clocks are right twice a day.

Not to Silver in any way but it tickles me that when someone does the job they said they would do they get Olympic commendation.

Have we as Americans sunk so low that we need to laud someone for simply doing their job?

Re: Rocky Road delivered!

On the 21st of May, I had ordered a jeep-eater kit so I can run some yj's. Now if I could only get the bonehead who sold me my yj springs to make the set match. He gave me three 4 leaf springs and one 5 leaf. I think the was just getting rid of some junk and sold me the off springs. Oh, yea. I will give rocky road till the 5th of june before I get worried about my order

Re: Rocky Road delivered!

it would be great if rro "earned" themselves a better reputation. they have a very nice web site and a ton of cool products and they seem to be well built.

i have only ordered thru them once and i think that was in 1998 and it was a fairly large order. glen's assistant was very polite and helpful on the phone and everything showed up although it was later than promised but it was all there and was exactly as i had ordered it.

Re: Rocky Road delivered!

Got the springs on, and will do the diff guards and snorkel in the AM.
I am not drooling all over RR. I had along with many over the
last few years delays in getting the product. I just wanted to report that they seem to be getting better at living up to thier word. If you don't like it tough don't order from them.
