Backseat brace for Tracker

Anybody know where I can get a backseat brace for a 95 Tracker that keeps the seat in the upright folded position? Mine has one for each rear seat (93 LSi) but my dad's is missing and I ain't going to give him one of mine! The nearest salvage yard for Trackers/Suzukis is in Denver...too far for such a small piece so I figured I'd try here first.

have you tried the dealer? sometimes the dealer parts are surprisingly inexpensive. usually the other way by far of course.

Re: Backseat brace for Tracker

Go to a hardware store, sporting goods store, or a marine supply and buy some 1 inch nylon webbing and plastic fastec buckles and ladder bars. now make your own version for less than $10. Attach one half of a quick realease buckle using a loop of webbing at center seat belt anchor point. A long strap attached to back of seat bottom with the other end having the mating half quick release buckle . When not in use run the long strap under the seat to another half buckle for storage.
